Ever thought that insurance advertising was boring? Yes? Of course, you have!
This collection of one Thai company’s commercials really emphasizes disaster related insurance. I would guess from my own experience of Asia, that selling insurance in Thailand can be difficult. Superstitions often preclude warnings of potential risks, as locals may believe what are intended as warnings may be re-interpreted as curses or inviting unwarranted danger.
Some traditional Asian societies can be very wary of such things, so making more traditional approaches to advertising difficult or even impossible. After all, who wants to be told that they may die tomorrow?
