We’ve been with Aetna for my personal life insurance for almost 15 years, in fact, it’s how I pretty much ended up dating my wife who tried unsuccessfully to sell me a life insurance policy.
She did, in the end. But she had to pay the first premium herself! She wasn’t a good sales agent at all. But she did get me insured, and for that I have to be thankful. Why? Because at that time, I would have hated spending the time comparing life insurance, it was just something I didn’t want to think about.
And yet, I was wrong. Totally wrong to do so. So she set me up with a decent policy that still covers me to do this day. I’m loathe to change it, but I’m sure that I will need to in the next few years as life changes.
