If anything, it isn’t uneventful. 80+ earthquake aftershocks since 230am. This morning, not yesterday! So there have been hundreds of aftershocks since yesterday’s Big One. There were also some larger preshocks, too.
All day yesterday there were rolling quakes, low in intensity but palpable. They created the feeling of being at sea or on water. We’re not talking a few either. Since early this morning there have been 80 alone, ranging from 2~4 in severity. Most won’t be felt in Taipei.
Damage-wise. This is what happened in one of our classrooms. Broken tiles elsewhere as the pressure is unsupportable. Tiles shouldn’t be used as a construction material!
