I’m organising an event on Sunday 7 August aimed at wannabe entrepreneurs with little/no experience. It’s a one-day workshop/competition walking the participants through forming a team, formulating a plan and preparing a short pitch. All the participants get some toy money to invest at the end, and the teams that attract the most investment get real cash prizes. (NT$10,000 and NT$5,000).
The judges include Jamie Lin, president of AppWorks Ventures, and it’s intended to be fun and educational. We did one of these a few weeks ago and it was a great success. This is the new improved version.
