We have real hardwood floors, and we love them. But they have some real problems: they mark, they scuff, and don’t get me started about high-heels! But would I go far enough to consider cheap laminate flooring as an alterntative…? Well, I might in rooms that need a bit more ruggedness. I do like the fact that you don’t have to do much once installed, but are they as warm as real wood floors? Anyone?
