Job markets are tightening with increasing demand as workers are laid off in Europe, the UK, and the US. In periods of economic contraction, workers are always the first to be hit with job losses, salary reductions, increased costs, and uncertainty.
I’d be brushing up my resume, if I were likely to be in the market for a job at this time, whether I need resumes in London, Paris or even Chicago resumes.
It’s not a difficult task to accomplish: check the work section, and update that with any relevant experience, jobs and accomplishments related to your current or previous jobs; add the skills sections with the skills you have learned recently; and make sure your contact details and references are in order.
