Suggestions for next time: slightly more baking soda, lower baking temperature, use smaller granule sugar, use less (or different) vanilla essence, and try not to take out the cake…
Ok. Here are the differences that have tried this time. Only 1 tablespoon of sugar, cut out 1/3 of the sugar which should eliminate the heavy caramelizing of the edges. Other than that, I took out the paddle too early. Forgot about the second knockback. Oops. I also kept the volumes as exact as possible….
