We’re still struggling to get the recipe right. This one: too much sugar, too much liquid… so we need to do the kneading by hand to get rid of the sticky batter problem, and perhaps reduce the sugar in the loaf, to prevent burning. We’ll get it right, eventually. But there are too many variables…
This year is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China. To celebrate, the government is inviting 250 people (from 100 countries) to come and spend two weeks in a homestay program in August. Apparently it’s all free, and they’re looking for people age 18-40. From a friend.
