It’s a sobering thought to realize that the growth rate under Democrats since 1928 has been over 4.1% on average. Under Republicans, not including Hoover, it’s been 2.4%. If you include Hoover, it’s closer to 0.98%. Obviously, I should do a year by year GDP check to verify these numbers. But… anyway…

… you certainly can’t argue that the Republicans hadn’t had enough years in power to make a difference. It’s 44 years with 3 contiguous presidencies on each side. So…
