Been given the chance to finally compare the two series. It seems that the UK series just slavishly copied the US, but somehow it missed something: the style. Whatever you think of Donald Trump, he does have a certain panache that he brings to his TV show. Alan Sugar is certainly a good entrepreneur, but I’m not sure that he’s got the same personal attributes.
