We were talking about comparison adjectives in my close. And today, it hit me that perhaps one day soon, I will need to learn more about wrinkle creams!
I stupidly chose to compare myself now with how I was 25 years ago (back in the day!) to help students get the idea of comparisons. Of course, they weren’t too flattering in their choice of adjectives. A few ‘handsomes’ did filter through, but the overall tone was less than complementary!
One thing is sure: Youth is Eternal! The next generation of young learners always seems to be waiting in the wings for their turn in my class!
