Thunderbird: Great Substitute for Outlook Express

By | May 3, 2005

Now you too can get away from the vagaries of Outlook Express… I’ve lost tons of email from their funky mailboxes, and frequent crashes. While Thunderbird does occasionally crash, it’s got more standard mailbox features that you can access easily, import and export wherever.

If you are equipping a whole class with software, this would have to be one of the most useful pieces of software with its RSS syndication features, skins, and other great stuff. I used it successfully both at home and work. And it’s multiple OS compatible so you can use it on Mac, Win, and Linux, too.

What more could you want?
