It seems that many places are experiencing problems like those who are facing Outer Banks foreclosures but the odd thing in Taiwan’s property market is that people here don’t like to buy any foreclosed properties.
They often worry about things like deaths (esp. unnatural deaths), unwanted tenants, trashed houses, and even unvacated properties. Not only that, you can’t even view the property before you bid in an auction. But there are also issues with Feng Shui which can mean a property that is unsellable.
I have seen several nicer properties that I might bid on, but my wife is seriously reluctant to even consider bidding on those. She just won’t.
