Candles aren’t just for typhoons!

We’ve always enjoyed candle light in our house, though we don’t use it very often. Sometimes Christine will place candles in the bathroom while she bathes or when we’re having dinner. Just occasionally, we’ll whip out our candles when there’s a powercut in a typhoon.

I always worry about putting candles directly on places, but those small Votive candle holders can really help to mitigate the risks. The candles nestle neatly at the bottom of a glass like beaker. Much safer, and with a tint of glass, it can really complement the atmosphere and lighting.
