I’ve been going through some of my old photos from the mid-90’s. Since the photos are in poor condition with the humidity, and my poor storage techniques, I’ve acquired this interesting looking device: a negative scanner.
It’s the Memor-ease (click the link or picture for a fuller review). Though the image quality isn’t the best, I’m finding that they’re equivalent to my old Kodak camera. I guess that the quality of the photos isn’t so hot anyway. So I’ll likely scan as many of my old photos, and if there are any good ones, I’ll mark them and have them properly scanned at a higher resolution. I’m not hopeful… but anyway, you should be able to enjoy most of my ‘historical photo series’ on Flickr.
