Thanks, Jeff D. I'm actually surprised more people DON'T watch TV on a PC. In the UK, it's so easy to do. Just go to the channel page, and find your recent show... you can watch it by clicking on the page as easily as a YOUTUBE video. And the quality is much better. Though, for large screens it might be too grainy... it is fine for most PC screens. The TV industry will be loathe to admit it, but times are a-changing: viewing habits are undergoing the biggest changes since Cable TV came along.

I personally can't decide which set-up to go with. TVs are so easy to just fire up, but the choices and capabilities that can be had on a PC can't be matched by most cable providers. Example- I can subscribe to Netflix via Mail, and get DVDs, but sometimes I have to wait a day or two for a new DVD to arrive. On a PC- I can stream many titles (although not all that are available via DVD are available to stream) without having to wait for something to come in the mail. I think there is a spot for both TVs and PC's acting as TVs for everybody, you just havea to find the right combo.

Cheers,
