I have never been to Disneyland, I don’t really intend to go and I hope I never have to. When I was growing up, we never really got to see too much Mickey Mouse on TV where I lived, though we knew about the cartoon enough.
I have no idea why that is the case, but we were pretty much brought up on Warner Brothers fare, and those were our favorites, indeed. So, for us, expressing any desire to see Disney Land at all was rare.
But a trip to California, as adults, now that would be something. Of course, you would take in Universal Studios, Napa Valley, San Francisco… and all the things ‘big kids’ would love to do.
So if I were to throw in Disney Land for the little kids, I’d be inclined to book any disneyland california hotels that were in reach of the adult attractions. I couldn’t think of anything worse than being stuck for days in a pre-adolescent environment. Would surely drive me nuts!
